Symbolism:
The cuffs are decorated with a relief image of a double-headed eagle - symbol of the Patriarchate of Constantinople, and also of prestige and power. Such ornaments were worn by noble and religious women. Only worn by married women, after receiving them as an engagement or wedding gift. It was considered, that the pafts protect the woman's childbearing organs.
The jewelry is made of bronze alloy, which does not contain nickel and is safe for your skin.
